Change Hard Drive Icon by Registry Editor
WINDOWS7 TIP
1. Go to run (win+r) Type
regedit.
2. Now follow the path
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/CLASSES/APPLICATIONS
3. Now right click on
APPLICATIONS
and select
new
after that select
key.
And folder named as
Explorer.exe
4. Now right click on
Explorer.exe
and select
new
than select
key
and
named as
Drives
5. Now right click on
Drives
and select
new
then select
key
and named as required drive letter.
Ex: suppose you set icon to
C
drive icon then write
C
in key field
6. Under drive letter C right click and create a new key named as
Default Icon
(d and i are capital)
Now paste the required icon location path paste on
default
regedit file. Path means location of particular image include with its name
