How to Speed Up Windows 7 Boot?

1. Type “msconfig” (without quotes) in Vista or Windows 7 start menu search box and hit enter.

2. Click Continue if you get a UAC prompt.By default, you won’t get a UAC prompt in Windows7.

3. Navigate to “Boot” tab and click on “Advanced options” button.

4. Check the box named “Number of processors” and also select the number of processors from the drop down box.

5. Under boot options select NOGUI BOOT

6.Click  “ OK” and restart to see the time difference.

1.First of all,click on Gears Icon and then select  settings option from it.

2.In GMAIL  settings select  ACCOUNTS AND IMPORT  TAB.

3.In send mails as section,click on Add another email address you own option

4.Now a pop up window will open,give a email address that you  want to add  in your existing  Gmail account  and click next step button

5.After send verification code  to NEW EMAIL ADDRESS ,copy the verification code and paste it on verify box .click on verify  after enter verification code.

6. That’s it! Now  compose  a mail,you will see a drop down windows in from address field containing all the email address that you have added.

Even if you copied software from some where the copied text also get stored in the data. So Alwas use a onscreen keyboard while making online transaction. I prefer not to use public computers for online transaction, But if it is emergency then use onscreen keyboard provided. Change the password as soon as possible from your home (Private) Computer.
What to do if you are not provided with the onscreen keyboard?
For windows 7 OS based PC we have a solution. You can simply turn on their On Screen keyboard utility.

1. Open c:\windows.now right click on windows folder and click on TAKE OWNERSHIP. If your system doesn’t have TAKEOWNERSHIP download it.

2. Now in windows folder search explorer.exe.after find it copy and paste on desktop

3. Now open RESOURCE HACKER .click on file and open explorer.exe (on desktop).

Note:

• if you don’t have resource hackers download it.
• on desktop  explorer.exe is not found select file type as allfiles.

4. After open explorer.exe select bitmap. Expand bitmap and select 6801. Under 6801 select 1033

5. Now right click on 1033 and select replace resource. After select open file with bitmap. Now select your bitmap (.bmp) image.after select image click on replace

6. Same procedure follows to 6805 and 6809.and select image which is choosen in 6801.after modification of 6801, 6805 and 6809 click on file and save it.


7. Now in windows folder explorer.exe rename as explorer.exe.bak in c:\windows folder for backup it.   
  

                                                                                                                     
8. After rename the folder copy the explorer.exe folder on desktop and paste it on c:\windows.
delete  explorer_original.exe file on desktop.

2.Create a new key called  “diskcleanup”.Create an another key under diskcleanup and name it as  “command” and set the value to the following:   cleanmgr.exe /d %1

How to create a Custom Logon Screen Background on Windows 7

1.Type REGEDIT in search bar or in run (win+r)

2.Now follow the below path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/CURRENTVERSION/AUTHENTICATION/LOGONUI/BACKGROUND

3.Now right click on background select NEW and select DWORD (32BIT) and write OEMBackground and set the value as 1.

4.Now write gpedit.msc in search bar or in run

5.Now follow the path ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES/SYSTEM/LOGON. Now select ALWAYS USE CUSTOM BACKGROUND after that enable it.now click on apply and OK.

6.After that follow this path to set custom background.                                         c:\windows\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds.if your drive doesn't have info folder create in oobe folder.in info folder create backgrounds folder.  

7.In backgrounds folder paste the your image.  

   note:image name must and should be backgroundDefault and size lessthan 256kb

Change Hard Drive Icon by Registry Editor

1. Go to run (win+r) Type regedit.

2. Now follow the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/CLASSES/APPLICATIONS

3. Now right click on APPLICATIONS   and select   new   after that select key. And folder named as Explorer.exe 

4. Now right click on Explorer.exe   and select   new   than select key and   named as Drives

5. Now right click on Drives   and select   new   then select key and named as required drive letter.

Ex: suppose you set icon to C drive icon then write C in key field 

6. Under drive letter C right click and create a new key named as Default Icon (d and i are capital)

Now paste the required icon location path paste on default regedit file. Path means location of particular image include with its name
